Unite Medical is seeking a Consultant in General Adult Liaison Psychiatry for a three-month placement with one of our clients in Hampshire.

The role will be to provide consultant input into the AMH Liaison Psychiatry team, see patients for reviews and first assessments on wards and in ED, to attend MDT meetings, to be able to give advice to other team members during work day, to attend meetings with acute hospital colleagues regarding complex patients when required, to complete required clinical admin tasks in a timely way (usually within 24hrs) including appointments in RiO diary and validating progress notes, to work primarily with AMH liaison team and offer cross cover to OPMH liaison team when required

Essential requirements

  • UK experience as a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Approved Clinician (AC) status
