Unite Medical is seeking a Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry for a three-month placement with one of our clients in Hampshire.

To job role will be to carry out full RC/AC function for 13 patients, conduct ward rounds/MDTs, review patients accordingly, liaise appropriately with MOJ/Courts/MAPPA and complete associated paperwork, attend relevant team meetings, support clinical excellence and effectiveness of the medical team, carry out gatekeeping assessments as per rota.

Essential requirements

  • UK experience as a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Approved Clinician (AC) status
